The audience and a panel of judges decide who blew their minds the most!  I have never anything like this, but I am always up for something new!  FREE to get in! Though it is in a most inconvenient location (read: you could walk right into it), I just can't bring myself to disrupt its magnificence.  I looked up the spider's totemic meaning:   "The spider is a remarkable figure of feminine energy and creativity in the spirit animal kingdom. Spiders are characterized by the skilled weaving of intricate webs and patience in awaiting their prey. By affinity with the spider spirit animal, you may have qualities of high receptivity and creativity. Having the spider as a power animal or totem helps you tune into life’s ebbs and flows and ingeniously weave every step of your destiny." So feeling like today is definitely a good day to be focussing on writing and finishing up some new song... Don't you think??

It was like an impromptu pop-up house concert!  I love the spontaneity that can happen with live music!

ALSO - this weekend is the 30A Songwriters Festival, headlined by Lucinda Williams and Mary Chapin Carpenter (YES!)... I will be performing nightly and you can check the show calendar for all the details if you happen to be in the northwest area of Florida!  It will be non-stop starting in a couple of days... How did I get so lucky?!?!
